I was chatting with my colleagues about nian gao today and also how many ways you can cook it, like steaming it and dip into coconut flakes, deep fried with yam and sweet potato, or the good old, pan fried with eggs. I was also told there are other ways of cooking it, like using popiah skin to wrap around it and deep fried, indeed, there are many ways of cooking it.

So I was checking out where I can get some nian gao this Chinese New Year, well guess it is still not too late, as most promotions only ends on 6 Feb.
