I was attracted by this packaging of seriously sweet tomatoes when I was grocery shopping at Cold Storage recently. 🙂
And also the name is pretty cool, sounds so spanish too, haha…
These little yellow baby tomatoes look pretty normal, and honestly speaking, I usually get red ones, so I am not really holding much expectations on these yellow ones.
But since It state on the box that it is seriously sweet, I will give it some “serious” thinking, and got it, at $6.95 a box, its no where to be cheap, but I will still give it a try sine I am making rocket salad.
And boy, it was really one of the best tomatoes I have tried!! The japanese tomatoes are usually the priced ones, it is like fruit tomatoes and correspondingly the price is also very high, however at $6.95 a box, I think this just became a pretty good alternative, because these baby tomatoes are so sweet!! It didn’t have that raw flavour of tomatoes, which usually comes from the seed. 🙂
Guess you can’t judge the tomatoes by its color huh?
