Hi there
In Japan airport, you can find lots of interesting souvenirs. And one of my favourite is always the instant ramen, well, not the cup noodles where you only add water, but this take a little time because it requires actual cooking.

Ever feel lazy to marinade meats like poultry before cooking or wondering how to cook up those nice Karaage chicken you can find in Japanese restaurant? 🙂
I got a short cut for you and that is all lies in the Daiso Karaage Fried Chicken marinade powder.
Actually I am doing 2 posts in one, because I got this powder from Daiso in Japan, not sure if they start selling in Singapore now, but even though if they do not have this which comes with a sweet tangy dressing, you can get the regular Karaage chicken powder, method is exactly the same and also gives the exact same crunch and savory just like those were made in restaurants. 🙂
Hi there
I just got this pack of Green Tea Caramel Jelly from someone that just came back from Japan as well.
This small pack of Green Tea Caramel Jelly comes in multiple sachets and what they lack in size, definitely compensated by the flavour of it.
Hi there
I got this pack of Avocado Wasabi chips when I was shopping in the japanese convenience store.
Hmm.. Avocado and wasabi, the only connection I can think of is oh well, they both are green. So a little curious how it will turn out. 🙂

Hi there
My husband got us some cup jelly from Japan in his last visit and we have been wanting to try out more jelly ever since. 🙂
These jelly comes in tomato / mango / strawberry / plum / grape flavour.
My favourite is the plum as the plum jelly comes with a real plum in it, it reminds me of Choya plum wine without the alcohol and it is also very refreshing too.
Okay, some of them does look a little suspicious because the color is kind of vibrant haha.. but all in all, these taste really good and I hope my husband will be going back soon to get me more. 🙂

My hubby bought my son a bag of angry bird marshmallow on way home, I think my son kind of set his eyes on that after seeing how real looking the marshmallow were, all I can say is just… “sigh…” Why?
Yup they look really real, but there is also a reason because they are not really your fluffy marshmallow, although I am not a big fan of marshmallow, I will still occasionally once in a blue moon buy a pack to perhaps drop a couple into hot milo or just eat it on its own. But these is just…. how can I put it…. unique I guess.

If you have read my previous post about Sophie Bakery, you will know that I am a huge fan of them, and my oh my, am I not in a lot of trouble of what, I finally got to try out their Macaroons, and I have never looked back. 🙂
My husband got me several Sophie Macaroons and I got to try out Chocolate, Lemon and Pistachio flavours.
All of their macaroons comes in light pastel lovely colors, which is a good start because sometimes I can get a little freak out by how vibrant some macaroons are and there just goes all the coloring in there.
