MEIDIYA SNACK ATTACK – PLUM AND SHISO FLAVOUR KAKI NO TANE -WARNING REALLY ADDICTIVE
Posted by: | CommentsHi there
Who doesn’t like Japanese rice crackers, it is something like a stable food for me, haha.. note how I called it food and no longer snack, I just loves the great variety it is available, and for my husband, it seems like he has his own calling.
And that is Kaki no tane, it actually translated as seeds of persimon, the orange fruit with the nice crunchy juicy texture. These mini japanese rice crackers shape like them.
These are really popular in Japan and also in my household because of how easy to eat, and it usually comes with peanuts, great for drinking session or just a simple snack too.

Posted by: | CommentsHi there
After seeing the packet ramen which I recommended, I guess you might want to try cooking it up yourself as it is really simple.
For me one of the important ingredients is Menma, which is the preserved bamboo shoots, that goes together with the shoyu ramen, love the texture and the flavour which cuts the greasiness of the ramen.

MEIDIYA JAPANESE SUPERMARKET SNACKS CRAZE – BOURBON SPINACH CHIPS
Posted by: | CommentsHi there
Lately I have been visiting Mediya Japanese Supermarket very often, because I have been hunting on Japanese snacks ever since I started my Zumba classes. Talk about trying to compensate all the calories, haha :)
While my son and me were browsing at the rice cracker section, he was asking me if he can get some potato chips, so instead of potato chips, I offered the “green chips”, looking sceptical but can’t resist when it comes to chips, he said he wanted to try it.
So there we tried this interesting spinach chips, taste wise, although it sound much more healthy but I also find it on the saltier side, definitely goes down very well with a glass of icy soda.

Posted by: | CommentsHi there
Most people know about the Ippudo ramen at Mandarin Gallery, but do you know they also sell their Ippudo Hot Sauce at Meidiya? I chanced upon them when I was doing my grocery there, and immediately snap it up, because it says Ippudo Hot Moyashi Sauce. Which is to say Ippudo Hot Sauce for Bean Sprout.
Since it says bean sprout, so I decided to make a salad out of it, I used below ingredients :
