Someone has been raving about the waffles and ice cream at Wimbly Lu, and I finally able to try it out, let’s just say it is not really a place I would go because of how inaccessible the location is, and you really need a car to find this place.

Wimbly Lu is located at Jalan Riang which is somewhere at Serangoon, hidden among lots of landed property, this little quiet cafe has been quietly and steadily making waves.

I have been hearing my coworkers talking about Eggs & Berries and said how affordable their menu is, so during one of the weekend when I was attending some event at the Expo, I came to try it out with my husband just to see how good it is.

Okay, for my husband, I think he kind of prep himself to compare between this and Wild Honey haha.. My colleague did tell me that the only thing they didn’t like is the cheap picnic ham that they use, but other than that is fabulous, so let’s see how it score 🙂

It was Sunday. And that means scrumptious or creative breakfast menu at our household, okay, or at least I try. 🙂

When I was grocery shopping at Fairprice supermarket, I saw these really good looking Vietnam sweet potatoes, and I just have to get it. A bag for only 70cents.

We sometimes steam these sweet potatoes as breakfast but I know it will be too plain for my son, and the look of it just wasn’t as exciting, so I decided to make sweet potato pancakes for him instead, and literally “dress it up” into a bear face to entice him can be a good idea too. 🙂

WILD HONEY SCOTTS SQUARE & MANDARIN GALLERY – LIQUID GOLD FOR THE WEEKENDS

This is one of my most favourite place to go out for weekend breakfast because this place is so good it seriously remind me of NZ cafe food but with better over the top ingredients.

All day breakfast is finally catching up in Singapore which is such an exciting food experience. A good breakfast goes a long way but a great breakfast set you on a rocket and fuel you along the way, haha 🙂

Wild honey has two outlets. One at Scotts Square and the other which is the original store is at Mandarin Gallery.

I personally prefered the Scotts Square branch as they take reservations and also it is brighter but the Mandarin Gallery branch is  cozier however the waiting time can be a pain too.

At Scott’s Square Wild Honey, you have a choice of alfresco or indoors seating. Take alfresco if you are okay with a little heat because it feels so nice in the morning, two thumbs up for the shiny morning breakast experience.

You might really want to make a reservation with Scotts Square because this place is hugely popular too, lucky us, as we were there early we only queued a while to get our seats.

CEDELE BREAKFAST & MENU – RISE & SHINE ENERGIZE MY MORNING

Breakfast is very important to my family, weekend breakfast we will either go to somewhere to get a full breakfast or make ourselves something good at home.

As I saw Cedele the last time I went to Greenwich V, I have been itching to go there one of the weekends to enjoy a breakfast with my son and mum while my husband can sleep in later. 🙂

As usual greenwich V is off the hustle and bustle, and it is a great place to enjoy a sunny quiet morning.

If you go to Resort World Sentosa or stay for a night at the Resort World Hotel, chances of you seeing advertisement of Palio Italian Restaurant is pretty high, especially their 3pm 1 for 1 Pizza Promotions is supposed to be one of the selling point.

LAI LAI CASUAL DINING BREAKFAST MENU AND REVIEWS – NO FRILLS GOODNESS WITH KIDS MENU

I was introduced to Lai Lai Causual Dining by one of my friends who is very keen in Taiwanese cuisine, and he recommended me the beef noodles here as he find this is one of the better ones he can find in Singapore and the pricing is very affordable too.

So far I have tried their beef noodles, braised pork rice, mee sua and bubble tea. I personally didn’t like the beef noodles as I prefer clear soup, however, I love their braised pork rice and mee sua.

Their set menu is very affordable, think 1 Main + 1 Side + 1 Drink just only set you back between $12.50 – $13.50 with ample portion to share, so on and off, I will frequent them if I want to have some golden deep fried eggplant with pork floss or Taiwanese crispy chicken.

During one of my weekend marketing at Fairprice Xtra at Nex, I was planning to bring my son to have some blueberry pancakes at KFC before shopping however my mum and me wanted something a little more oriental.

Adn to our delight, Lai Lai Casual Dining has came up with a Weekend Morning Menu! And what’s even better, they have both western and Taiwanese menu. Awesome 🙂
