Once I heard Artisan Boulangerie Co. (in short ABC) is opening at Kiliney Road, I immediately check it out once I have time during lunch. π
Hidden at a corner off Kiliney road, this spaceous cafe serves lots of good stuff, of course their baguette is a must try. (I will tell you about it more later)
We managed to have lunch there, and it is definitely a place I will be back. π

I have heard so much about L’entrecote, and finally I could get to try it out now they are at the new revamped Suntec City Mall. π
Can’t wait to check it out and get my steak radar on! paired with unlimited crispy golden fries and also their walnut green salad. And wash it all off with the 15 varieties of dessert. I am getting anxious day by day.

I was at MBS for a seminar recently, and decided to take a walk to check out the stores over there after the seminar ends, as I personally do not go there very often.
And this little detour actually brought me a delightful surprise π
Hiding in a corner at MBS, actually to be exact it is right at the end of MBS, diagonally across the food court on the second floor is where Au Chocolat is.
Au Chocolat Β is a made-in-Singapore French-inspired concept store with a bistro dining area and a retail confiserie with a wide selection of chocolate and candy. Inspired by French antiquated streets that instils a sense of nostalgia with its calm and sophisticated ambience; Au Chocolat house its own private label and selected branded products.

Poulet at Bugis+ serves affordable French fare which has been getting pretty good reviews lately.
I still remember many years ago, the only French place I have been to in Singapore which serves afforadable French cuisine was The French Store in Little India. π
If you have been at Bugis+ lately, you sure will find many new food eateries there I enjoy the Suki Ya steamboat there but I just added Poulet which is a French themed BistroΒ as one of my new favourite too.

If you are tired of eating the thick crust pizzas, and wanted something for a change, you might want to check out Flam’s at Orchard Central. They serve sole Flammekueche or Tarte FlambΓ©e, which is a kind of French pizza.
French + Pizza, sound a little weird huh? That’s what I thought when I first come across this place, so I didn’t get to try it out. But after I found out they have this express lunch deal, I thought why not, good time to try it out and see how the French compete with the Italians π
Tucked at the corner at Orchard Central, it is just right next to the escalator, so you will get to spot it quite easily. It was still pretty quiet when we reached there, so we still have some skepticism in us. haha…
Their specialty pizza is made of a thin crust, spread with home made creamy base of yogurt & spices and with delicious creme fraiche, with chopped ingredients and baked in the oven for less than 3Β minsΒ is basically what you can get here. Serve piping crusty hot. π

I have always wanted to try out Hippopotamus at Marina Square, and I finally decided to go there to celebrate with my husband and son over some grilled steak. π
From the pictures on the menu, it does looks mouth watering and both my husband and I were rubbing our hands waiting to see if something good is in store for us. π
Hippopotamus Restaurant Grill is famous in Paris for their well known steaks at affordable prices, something like Aston to us may be? So let’s just see if the French can grill better steak than the Americans. π
Once we were seated, we were greeted by the very cheerful crew literally, the staff was very eager to introduce some of the popular dishes and also recommend some of the best seller. We were given potato chips while waiting for our meal and my son was happily enjoying this little treat. π

They have 2 time slot for lunches now, one is Express lunch, which mean if you can pay your bill by 1230pm, you will get to enjoy your set lunch at $6.50 instead of the usual $7.50.
