Are you like me when you check out the menu, you will first scan through all the chef recommendation first? Okay, reason why I do it is that if the Chef has the confidence to recommend then it better be good, and I will order one of it.
However if it taste crappy then very seldom I will go back because it says a lot about the restaurant – that you can’t recommend well even on your own restaurant dishes, with only one exception is if the dish is a signature dish. If it is bad in the signature dish, then that is a Astalavista Baby~ for me.
And recently I am seeing quite a few Chef’s recommendation menu which Japanese restaurant is launching, one of them is Ichiban Boshi which I patronize quite a lot to get my fix of salmon avocado handroll.
