Do you like Western soup? I love pumpkin soup, its the earthy sweetness that I love about them and the color of bright orange always lift my up my mood. ๐
I like to make pumpkin soup with a mix of potato or carrot, and this is a recipe that is so easy to make that you don’t even need a blender for it. This recipe actual cooking time on the stove probably takes less than 10 mins, and all I need is your rice cooker, and a pot. ๐

I still remembered I brought my family to Japan a few years back and we were checking out all the outlet malls to find some big ticket discounted items, but the most happy part for me was browsing their household & kitchen items in their colorful stalls, literally you can spend ages in there.
And then that “love at first sight” moment was there. The Standing Rice Scoop that shape like a fish and is pink!!ย Atย ย 500Yenย ๐
I don’t know about how other families work, but I have this pet peeves, or rather the whole family, we will picker over the rice scoop because it is usually covered in rice, and every time we do not know whether we want to place it on a plate, or slot it in the plastic hook.
But seriously it doesn’t make sense to me, all these end up more washing! So it was really a godsend when I saw this! What a genius idea, standing rice scoop, hassle free cleaning, and you can place it any where! ๐

I have always wanted to go for cooking class and see how people teach cooking. I am always amazed by how some chef who are so well versed in their craft, and how I wish I could be like them too.
Okay I know a thing or two about cooking, butย it sure doesn’t hurt to knowย more a bit aboutย food and where they are fromย ๐ But with all the mummy duties together with all the full time working, it can be quite hard sometimes.

HAPPYCALL PAN CAKE RECIPES – BETTY CROCKER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE USING DAISO HAND MIXER

I hae long wanted to try out my Happycall pan for desserts besides pancakes, and with a box of Betty Crocker which I bought during Robinson expo sale, it will be a great time to try out this Happycall cake recipes. ๐
Besides that I also got a handmixer from Daiso, yup, you hear me right, $2 for a hand mixer? cool isn’t it? and it became my son’s new found tool ๐
The Betty Crocker Super Moist cake mix that i got is as what it says super moist, I tried once before and it is not very dense because it has pudding mix in it. So I am also a little apprehensive if the cake can turn out too moist and might crack while cooking.
As for this Daiso hand mixer, it comes with various cool sunshine colors like pink, green, blue and yellow, all you need is pop in couple of batteries and is all ready for its action. ๐
