Many people loves teriyaki chicken and I also got a few queries about it too. You can of course buy the soya sauce, mirin japanese cooking wine to make it, however if you are someone who seldom cooks and want to make some delicious teriyaki chicken without burning a whole in the pocket.

I will recommend you to try out Daiso’s line up of cooking sauce. You can of course get their BBQ sauce etc, but as I have Sukiyaki Sauce left from my last sukiyaki recipe. So I have decided to finish up the sauce. Not bad for a $2 bottle of sauce huh? 🙂

SALMON FISH HEAD MISO STEW WITH HAPPYCALL PAN – FULL OF COLLAGEN GOODNESS

I was at Nex the other day when I pass by the Shokutsu 10, where they have this counters selling both sushi sashimi and also some fish heads & fish bones, which is just perfect for stew.

And what’s more, it only cost $4.50 for a pack of fresh salmon fish heads, fully cleaned and ready to be cooked into some stew which is full of collagen goodness. 🙂

I am also going to try out using Happycall pan to cook up this stew, kind of like a test actually. 🙂

QUICK & SIMPLE DEEP FRIED RECIPES – DEEP FRIED JAPANESE SHISO PORK ROLL

I don’t know how many times I have declare my love for Japanese shiso leaves, but I just can’t get enough of it somehow, haahaa… It is of course goes really really well with salad and sashimi alone, but it also goes really well with deep fried items too! 🙂

This is one dish which you can cooked either deep fried or even just yakitori style which is grilled and drizzle with yakitori or teriyaki sauce. 🙂

This dish surprisingly require not as much time as you thought it is, because the cooking time is practically halved as I use thin shabu shabu meat instead of the thick pork chop to cook it.

QUICK & SIMPLE RECIPE – DAISO COLD NOODLES WITH A TWIST

Do you like cold Japanese soba? cold springy noodles soaked in flavourful dashi sauce. Great for a hot sunny day to relief you from the heat. So how about Japanese Cold Noodles with a Twist and even better, a quick & simple recipe.

As I mentioned in my previous post I am a big fan of Daiso and always on the lookout for their products. I got another good buy this time.

I have always like Hiyashichuka, which is Japanese cold or chilled noodles, but ironically Japanese people call it Chinese Cold Noodles. However, they are somewhat different from normal soba, actually if you have it in Japan, they are usually like ramen noodles but in chilled form. It usually comes with heaps of colorful toppings, with a refreshing citrusy tangy flavourful dressing on it.

Daiso Cold Noodles & Packet Sauce

I think this product is good for people who like cold noodles with a twist, it is practically a hybrid between a salad and noodles. I use to love it during my school days because it is low calories and as I love salad too, this is a very satisfying meal that is healthy & filling and you can go very creative with this.

As time goes by, I have totally forgotten about this and usually just go for my ramen fix so I was very excited when I see this at Daiso.

On the packaging, it says Lemon Flavour, and comes with 2 packet of dressing with noodles. One pack is for 2 servings, but I really recommend you to have 3 people sharing it, as the portion can be quite large after you have added all the toppings. 🙂
